Nandadevi (7816m) is the highest and the most sacred mountain in India bordering Tibet in the north. The trek goes via Kuari pass (3640m) with stunning views of Himalayas including Nandadevi and other peaks and passes through lush forests of bamboo, conifer, and oak connecting with ancient Hindu villages. At higher elevations, the landscape is beautified by numerous wild flowers and pristine lakes and camps of the seasonal shepherds. Aided by plenty of camping and trekking services, the trip stands as an outstanding opportunity to explore Indian Himalayas.
