This trip offers an outstanding opportunity to explore the lost Kingdom of Jumla from where the mystery Malla Kings ruled in western Nepal until the 16th century with influences to and from Guge Kingdom of West Tibet. Along the trail, you will come across the traces of ancient Buddhist stupas as well as Hindu power places, and also will witness Nepal’s richest biodiversity from lowland hilly regions to the high Himalayas. Passing through pristine Rara Lake, you will measure your trip along the Karnali river; the longest river in Nepal originating from mount Kailash in Tibet.

  • Day 1/4: Arrival, tour in Kathmandu, then fly to Surkhet (200m) visit Kakre Bihar and fly to Jumla (2240m)
  • Day 5/7: Trekking to Uthagaon (2530m), to Burma (2580m), to Chautha (2770m)
  • Day 8/9: Trek to Rara lake (2980m) - Rest and explore Rara
  • Day 10/16:  Trek to Banwa village, to Changkheli pass, to Darma village, to Melchham village, to Puma Lekh, to Pangkha, to Gatya Khola,
  • Day 17/18: trek to Bargaon, and to Simikot, conclude trek
