The trek starts from Simikot towards the Karnali river bank through Thakuri Hindu villages, and Humla Tibetan settlements.Traditional village settings, rural lifestyle of people, local farmers working on indigenous crop fields and the Tibetan Buddhist monasteries, shrines are some of the features of the trail that finally leads to the majestic view of the Saipal Himal (7035m) that resembles a sleeping golden ox. The beautiful valley around the mountain carries rich varieties of flora and fauna which adds to the beauty of the region.

  • Day 1/2: Arrival, tour in Kathmandu,
  • Day 3/4: Then fly to Nepalgunj (200m) and to Simikot (2950m)
  • Day 5/8:  Trek to Dharapori, to Chhoila, to Palang Le (Thothory Pass 4500m) and to Kairang
  • Day 9/10:  Trek to Saipal Base camp, rest and exploration
  • Day 11/12: Trek to Labuk Depsa and to Chala village
  • Day 13/14: Trek to Yalbang village, rest and explore village and Yalbang Namkha Khyungzong  monastery - opportunity to learn about Tibetan Buddhism on monastic setting
  • Day 15/16:  Trek to  Majgaun, to Simikot
  • Day 17/18:  Fly Nepalgunj/Kathmandu/Rest and departure
