This interesting trek beginning at Lamayuru monastery includes visit to some historical monuments such as Leh palace and some 1000 years old monasteries such as Alchi monastery and leads into less traveled Ripchar valley through small ladakhi villages, nomadic settlements and pastures where the landscape is adorned with wide variety of wild flowers and birds, where the high passes on the trail offers fascinating views of the Karakorams and the Zanskar ranges. The trek will involve exploration of the culture, religion and art that was practiced 1000 yrs ago and that is practiced until now while allowing opportunities of obtaining the inspiration from the age-old wisdom in widening the sphere of our experiences and state of happiness.

• Day 1/2: Arrival and tour of Delhi
• Day 3/4: Fly Delhi-Leh (3500m), rest, acclimatize
  and tour of Leh
• Day 5: Drive Leh to Alchi (3200m), visit Spituk and Phiyang monasteries  
• Day 6 : Drive to Lamayuru (3430m)
• Day 7 : Trek to Wanla(3200m) over the Prinkiti La (3700m)
• Day 8 : Trek to Hinju (3750m)
• Day 9 : Trek to base of Konze La (4900m)
• Day 10 : Trek to Lanak (3900m)
• Day 11 : Trek to Chilling (3250m) over Dungduchun La(4700m)
• Day 12: Drive to Leh (3500m)
