The trip begins with attending colorful Paro Tsechu festival and follows with visit to mysterious Taktsang Hermitage and various Dzongs (fortress), cultural attractions, villages and traditional institutions which together will provide you a rare and unique experience of exploring the Himlayas.

  • Day 1(16 March):  arrive Kathmandu
  • Day 2 (17 March):  fly Kathmandu- Paro (attend Tsechu at Rinpung Dzong)  
  • Day 3/5 (18/20 March):  Paro: attend Tsechu and visit Taktsang Hermitage, Drugyel Dzong and National Museum  
  • Day 6 (21 March): Paro-Thimphu: Visit Memorial Chorten, Traditional Medicine Institute, Textile Museum and Weekend Market
  • Day 7 (22 March): Thimphu-Chime Lhakhang-Punakha: Visit Punakha Dzong and Nyizergang Chorten 
  • Day 8 (23 March): Punakha-Wangdu Phodrang Dzong-Jakar
  • Day 9/11 (24-26 March): Jakar: Cultural visits in Bumthang: Kurje Lhakhang, Jampa Lhakhang, Tamzhing, Tangbi, and Tang valley, with the woolen textile factories of Zug-ne
  • Day 12 (27 March): Jakar-Trongsar Dzong-Wangdu  
  • Day 13: 28 March:  Wangdu-Thimphu  
  • Day 14(29 March): Thimphu : Visit National Handicrafts Emporium and Tashi Chodzong, afternoon drive Paro
  • Day 15 (30 March) Paro-fly Kathmandu
