Climate

The general travel period is between May to October. This period has mild weather with warm, dry and sunny days with crisp cold nights. During this time, temperatures in the high camp sites are likely to be well below freezing. Regular strong winds, usually in the afternoons and dust storms are not uncommon. The month of July and August brings some rain due to influence of monsoon. There is possibility of snow at any time of the year.
